When you book your appointment, you'll be asked a few questions to help us understand how you plan to use your professional headshot(s), so we’re ready to go when you arrive. With your email confirmation, you will receive our recommendations with respect to wardrobe, jewelry, hair styling, make-up, grooming and general self-care, as well as what to expect from your professional headshot photo session.

Upon your arrival, we’ll allow some time to understand how you feel about being in front of a camera and if you have preferences about how you would like to be photographed. Once we start the session, we’ll guide you through different poses and expressions to get a variety of looks you can choose from, and we’ll show you your images live so you get a feel for what we’re getting and provide instant feedback so we can make any necessary adjustments in posing or lighting. Once the shoot is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to select your favorite images for professional retouching and they will be delivered to your own personal online gallery.

Absolutely! Our regular business hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00pm to 7:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm. However, should you need to book an appointment outside of these times please contact us and we’ll gladly schedule a session that works for you. Please give us advance notice of at least 2 business days of your special scheduling needs.

We partner with local hair and makeup artists in the North Shore that we can recommend. If you choose to have light hair and makeup done at our studio, we’ll allow extra time before your photo session. In either case you will pay them directly at the time of service.

We deliver the photo(s) you selected for digital retouching in a JPEG format in both low and high resolution to be used for web or standard print, to your own private online gallery where you can download them from. We also provide free of charge up to four different standard crop sizes (square, round, 4x3, 5x7). For an additional fee we can generate additional copies of the same image in other sizes, crops, shapes, and even in black & white. Contact us for more information.

We use flattering studio lights so we can capture stunning headshots. Standard professional retouching includes adjustments for minor blemishes, stray hairs, lint or minor wrinkles on clothing. Advanced retouching is available for an additional fee. Contact us for more information.

Yes, we keep back-ups of your favorite photos for 12 months after your photo was taken, and you can purchase additional images from your favorite gallery collection during that time. After one year we only keep a back-up of your purchased images.

Yes, we can bring our studio to your office or your preferred location. We need a shooting space for headshots that is at least 15’ x 15’ and a building with ramp access and elevator if the space is not on the ground floor, and a little time to set up and break down the studio equipment.
